key qualities

Today we've got a guest blogger! Andy Green is a video expert and is here to share why you should be using video in your business, across the board, not just within social media.
It’s the year of video – according to https://highq.com and I agree. Video is becoming more and more popular in marketing plans, for websites and social media. I heard a quote once, which is quite inspiring, ‘If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the power of video can be limitless’.

I want to share something important with you. When it's all going to shit, when the poop is really flying at the fan, HOLD ON. This is the time your resolve is being tested the most. Last weekend my family and I said good bye to our horse. I can't begin to describe the pain and guilt and anguish over this loss. It's almost a week on and we are sad to our bones, troubled by the decision we had to make and missing her kind face and soft warmth. On Monday I took a personal day and spent time with my mum and sisters. I also had a proposal due in to a client that day, with a meeting booked in to discuss it on Thursday. I also have my online course which I've been developing and have people interested in joining.

Spammy Pam and Desperate Dan. You know who I mean right? The people who message you 20 times a week talking about the latest and greatest deal, you can practically smell their desperation to hit their target can't you? See the sweat on their brow and hear the panic in their voice over the phone as they ask if you'll sign up to the subscription/service/order today?

Oh my word! What did you just say?! Did you just say “I never thought YOU’D be able to do that!”?

Ok, I know, that’s a little bit abrupt but this is a reaction I’ve had in the past, and probably will again, when someone reacts to something I’ve done with complete shock. And not shock in a good way, shock because they didn’t think I was CAPABLE of something and that’s quite insulting!

There is nothing as powerful as a changed mind. - TD Jakes When I first heard that quote, and the following few sentences, I realised the deep truth of it. Often a big change in our mind, the thing that triggers us changing from the inside, is a trauma, a terrible event, something that shocks us to the core and effectively shakes us awake. You might call it a revelation, a moment of clarity, a "light bulb moment". Whatever it might be, your life is changed from then on.
